| Our
Global digital distribution architecture,
multiple backbone connections
and data route optimization technology
makes our web hosting services extremely
fast and reliable. |
OUR
SERVERS AND HARDWARE
| Our
servers are all P4 2.4 Ghz machines
or higher, each with 1 GIG of DDR RAM,
dual 120 GB hard drives with 8 MB cache,
this doubles the speed of an already
extremely fast server!
Each server also uses a RAID1 card.
The RAID1 card will mirror hard drive
#1 with hard drive #2. Should hard drive
#1 ever fail, hard drive #2 will take
over and become the master drive.
Unlike most other companies out there
which force you to make your own web
site back ups and blame you for not
having backed up your site when their
hard drives fail, our dual hard drive
RAID system acts as an automatic backup
so you'll never, ever, loose any of
the files, databases, etc. etc. on your
server, and you won't have to spend
countless hours backing up data. |
OUR
NETWORK AND DATA FACILITIES
|
With data facilities
through out the continental U.S. and
Canada we are a true international web
hosting provider that can server your
web hosting needs no matter where you
live. Each and every one of our data
facilities is equipped with complete
state-of-the-are Cisco systems including
redundant Cisco 7513 routers, a Gigabit
Ethernet network and a 24x7 network
operations center.
|
|
SONET Ring technology
with dual OC-12 and multiple DS-3 fiber
optic lines for backbone fail over.
Bandwidth capacity always kept at 1/4
of peak usage rates. BGP-4 routing protocol
also provides stable, efficient and
intelligent routing.
|
|
Our data centers are
environmentally controlled for the elimination
of variable fluctuation such as temperature,
humidity, static and airborne particles
designed for maximum server reliability.
|
|
Advanced fire suppression
systems. Diesel powered generators capable
of independently sustaining server operations
for more than a week, surge suppression
and UPS systems for individual servers.
|
|
Multiple-SCSI backup
cluster system for data storage and
recovery plus a separate, limited-access
server CO-location area.
|
MULTIPLE
BACKBONE CONNECTIVITY:
|
Our
global digital distribution network
is comprised of more than 25 high speed
private peering connections to major
Internet carriers such as AT&T, UUnet,
Bellsouth, Level3, and Global Crossing
Backbones. |
|
We
also have high-speed links to 8 public
exchanges including both MAE East and
West and several NAPS. |
| To
use an analogy, the private peering
connections allow data to travel from
New York to LA on a nonstop flight,
while the public exchanges require a
stop over. |
BGP-
4 ROUTE OPTIMIZATION:
| We
have a large investment in BGP-4 (Border
Gate Protocol) technology, which allows
the traffic to your site to travel more
efficiently by finding the best route
for data to travel. |
| On
a typical server the traffic always
takes the same route from client to
server. For them, if there is a bad
node, traffic gets backed up or does
not get through at all. |
| Because
we use BGP protocol, different and more
efficient routes are taken between client
and server depending on traffic loads
and broken nodes. This means our servers
automatically look for the fastest route
available. |
